The Vanquish Volante is Aston Martin’s two-seat, open-top flagship. Its carbon-fibre body, K-fold fabric roof and front-mid-mounted V12 combine grand-touring proportions with the direct connection of a convertible. It is positioned above the marque’s V8 sports and GT models for clients seeking the most powerful open Aston Martin currently in production.
824 BHP, 1,000 NM AND REAR-WHEEL DRIVE
The 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 produces 824 bhp and 1,000 Nm, driving the rear wheels through an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission and electronic differential. Aston Martin publishes 0–100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and a maximum speed of 345 km/h. Carbon-ceramic brakes and adaptive Bilstein DTX dampers are standard.
A 14-SECOND ROOF AND TWO-SEAT CABIN
The eight-layer K-fold roof opens in 14 seconds and closes in 16 seconds, including while travelling at up to 50 km/h. The cabin is configured for two occupants. Published luggage capacity is 219 litres with the roof closed and 187 litres with it stowed.
